After Kotokolo we thought we might continue south and explore the Peloponnisos. After further consideration, we decided the timing is not right for that trip. The pump for the watermaker is leaking and needs service (which we didn’t discover before leaving Lefkada). Water is scarce in these parts, it is very difficult to cruise this area without being able to make water. We decided to stick closer to the areas where we knew we could get water when needed.

Instead of continuing south, we headed back across the straight to Zakynthos. This time we went to the main port, also called Zakynthos.

Zakynthos is a good-sized town, a city really. Lots of churches and (what appear to be) nice shops. We had a couple of days there.

It was a very long dock. Everyone and their dog walked the deck in the evening. We had the perfect vantage point for people-watching.
