We arrived back at DFN on August 25. This is the closest to summer season that we have ever been here. It is hot, even though summer is winding down. The Weather Network is telling us mid-30’s. We saw a temp posted in town of 41C.

This summer, during a heat wave, Marmaris had a forest fire on the edge of the town. During that time, we are told, temps went up to 60C.

We are drinking lots of water and staying in the shade.
